Spin joins MetaBUILD hackathon by Near Protocol to host product challenges
Spinions and Nearians, expert and newbie devs, we have a great announcement to share with you! Spin will sponsor several product challenges featured on NEAR Protocol’s MetaBUILD hackathon. In 8 weeks packed with workshops, mentors’ days and pitching opportunities, the participants will build something amazing and get a chance to win! The prize pool for Spin’s challenges on MetaBUILD is $24,000. This way, everyone is invited to crash-test their ideas.
The Spin DEX will host 4 challenges as a part of the MetaBUILD hackathon.
- Create an exchange trading statistics dashboard
- Develop API libraries
- Develop and run matching engine black box testing
- Contribute to improving the Spin DEX (this challenge gives you freedom of choice, so feel free to use all your creativity!)

The registration for the MetaBUILD hackathon opens on Devpost, starting December 15th. The hacking process starts the same day, and for 8 weeks we will build something amazing together. Submit your project before February, 2nd, and we will announce the winners by the end of February 2022.
